The Role

We’re looking for a passionate Back-End Developer to join our team and play a key role in building the next generation of our software solutions. You’ll leverage your mastery of back-end development to craft efficient, scalable web applications.

Technical Responsibilities:

Architecture and Development:

Design and Develop: Create scalable and efficient back-end systems.
Lifecycle Participation: Engage in the full software development lifecycle, from architecture to deployment.
Code Optimization: Enhance the performance of existing code and the overall software suite.

Back-End Development:

System Building: Construct robust and secure back-end systems using programming languages and databases.
Data Management: Handle data management and ensure seamless communication between the front-end and back-end.
API Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive API documentation for ease of integration and usability by other developers.

Azure Skills:

Service Utilization: Use Azure services such as Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Storage to build and manage scalable applications.
CI/CD Implementation: Implement Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable deployment processes.
Database Management: Leverage Azure SQL Database for data management and storage solutions.
Monitoring and Security: Utilize Azure Monitoring and Azure Security Center to maintain the health and security of applications.

Additional Responsibilities:

– Innovation and Problem-Solving:

Identify and solve complex technical challenges.
Propose innovative solutions to improve the software suite.

– Technical Direction and Strategy:

Collaborate with the team to define the technological roadmap.
Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and best practices.

– Communication and Collaboration:

Work effectively with other developers, designers, and product managers.
Clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Tech Stack:

Programming Languages: Proficiency in C# for developing .NET 6+ Web APIs and background services.
Database Management: Expertise in SQL and EF Core for interacting with MSSQL databases.
Cloud Platforms: Experience with Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and Azure SQL Database.
DevOps Tools: Familiarity with version control tools (Git, GitHub, DevOps).
Documentation: Experience in developing and maintaining API documentation.
Bonus Skills (good to have): Docker, Kubernetes, Apache Gremlin, Cosmos DB, DDD design pattern, CQRS design pattern, Pub/Sub Pattern, Microservices Architecture, SignalR, Envoy/Nginx

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Experience: 1-3 years of solid back-end development experience.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in C#, SQL, and EF Core.
Azure Experience: Familiarity with developing solutions on Azure platforms.
Version Control: Knowledge of version control tools (Git, GitHub, DevOps).
Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving skills and logical thinking.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Working Hours:

Full-time: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Philippines time
